Not a common problem

While water resistance can get compromised due to the seal getting degraded over time, I don't think that glass should be falling off simply because the watch is over 9 years without service. By that logic most of the Pateks with collectors that have kept them unused and as safe queens would also be popping off their glasses like champagne corks.

ChopardMiami, I'm sorry to hear of your unusual problem. Do NOT wear the watch during the vacation and especially do NOT get the watch wet, even not hand washing. The water resistance is now zero even if you pushed the watch glass back on. By definition, ...
