Need a good price on the Tech Twist - I too love them.....

I too like the Tech Twist a lot.

However, I have been on the look out for a 'good' price on it for a while.
They are not easy to come by & the supply is tightly controlled...

It is a super watch...
I like the Chopard Calibers. They are well engineered & are also well finished - aesthetically [movement] i.e.

The mechanism seems to come outside making an intricate knot in 7 o’clock: a little dial with a second hand and a date sector. The central part of the dial is transparent and one can see a fragment of the mechanism – L.U.C. 96 TB Cotes de Geneve decorated caliber. The winder has preserved its traditional position near 4 o’clock indicator. Harmony and simplicity are combined. Automatic caliber L.U.C. 96 is equipped with two barrels that provide move reserve for 65 hours. For its extreme accuracy the mechanisn was given a COSC certificate.

is this the semi skeleton or considered full dial version? not too famaliar with chopard, and seen the regulator in various metals n dials, thus i m confused.

This is not a 'skeleton' !

 By: bhagwan : September 23rd, 2010-22:13
Dear Hororgasm, This Chopard Regulator is not a skeleton. All be it, not a regular either. We could use the word 'hybrid' You see, there is a 'dial' No gouliochee work, but there is a 'dial' present. The movement cannot be seen from the face of the watch,...

actually mate...i forgot i have similar piece!!

you are right...the dial sure is colourful. mine. owned it for few months, but havent seen wristtime yet. your post has inspired me to wear it on monday next. i find the dial too busy and confusing, and LUC has desgned the watch with traditional layout wi...

Chopard LUC should take its watch business more 'seriously' !!

"i find the dial too busy and confusing, and LUC has desgned the watch with traditional layout with a modern, even hi-tech, look, end product looks too "confused" much prefer their other efforts like the Strike One etc. You are 100 % Right. Too colorful.....

agreed mate...the finishing is superb

For some reason, it reminds me of the MB Rieussec Chrono. Would love to have both. Bob

The MB is a nice watch - can they be compared ??

 By: bhagwan : September 22nd, 2010-19:28
montblanc.watchprosite.com Sir, The MB is a nice watch; First time MB has made an effort to make some 'serious' watch. How good are the movements ? Do they have a 'regulator' with 9 days of power reserve that is a GMT too ? I am not so sure..... I have at...

I think you misunderstand me.

 By: masterspiece : September 23rd, 2010-22:47
I was not "comparing" MB against Chopard. I said it "reminded" me of the MB NR Chrono. I still don't know why. Perhaps the choice of colored metals on the dial? As for MB, you are correct as their regulator does not have a nine day PR. How good are their ...

Congratulations, Bhagwan! What an exciting watch that is!

The Chopard "Tech" watches are definitely alluring. I have been contemplating a simple Tech Twist for some time. I am curious what drew you to Chopard, and to the Regulator in particular? Enjoy it! Best, CaliforniaJed

Accuracy of this watch?

 By: aspegicus : January 23rd, 2015-16:31
Hi - I has been a few years now. How would you rate the accuracy in keeping time for this watch? Approx +- xx/seconds per day? Do you still own it? Thanks!
