My white gold Quattro

Posted this elsewhere, but better post it here, too. I saw this in the Wonder Room in Selfridges just before Christmas, was shocked at just how amazing the dial was, then I saw the price and said to myself that it'd have to wait a few years, but of course the trawling of Chrono24 started and this was there with the typical Chopard discount. :/

Absolute beauty of a dial. Goes green, grey, and shades of blue from almost white to almost black. This is also my first Geneva seal watch, so that's an interesting point to me. 98.01 calibre, so maybe someone can correct me but this is the same movement that's been in Quattros for over 20 years, while the 96 movement has seen dozens of variants over the years.

Anyway, I really like it, and it's sort of a counterpoint to my silver dialled/blue numeraled XP.

Ch24 speculating

I know the Quattro by speculating on CH24. I do it with more watches. Some watches decrease, price alarms in my mailbox. If a watch i want sold, i think somebody else bought a great watch. The Quattro is a good choice.
