Thanks for using my pics

As soon as I saw the first images of the 8HF from it's launch at Baselworld I knew it was for me. I immediately mailed KFS who, in the middle of the show, took the time to reply. He said that the limited production was all allocated but he would do his best for me. Two weeks later he told me that I would get one.
Chopard is a huge business and KFS has so many things on his mind and in his hands, so to take time for a single ordinary customer deserves thanks and appreciation.

When I received the watch I was impressed by the high quality finish. The design is fascinating: it has a sort of industrial look but is finished with refinement and subtlety.
Fine details such as the screws going through the lugs or the offset small seconds and date indicator give a strong impression of an artistically conceived whole.

The more you look, the more you see. The more you realize that every aspect of the design has been considered and balanced with everything else. The overwheming impression is that the 8HF was important and special to the designers.

As you might expect the timekeeping was, and is, outstanding. Apprx timing accuracy is about -40 secs per month. Incredible.

All in all I am delighted with my rare and beautiful 8HF.

A special big thanks to KFS for his passion and committment, and being an all round nice guy.

Rare Chopard watch but I spotted one

 By: MTF : August 21st, 2014-16:04
That is certainly a rare and special Chopard watch with only 100 examples produced and high frequency escapement. I have seen and listened to one but it was a cheat because I was at a Chopard-PuristS event in London. Where else could one expect a target-r...

Hey, Szaks, congratulations! And equally important, welcome to PuristSPro and to the Chopard Forum. I hope you'll stick around, and post more pictures of that beautiful 8HZ. Enjoy it in the best of health. CaliforniaJed
