Celebrating 20th anniversary of Happy Sport with Piece Unique Diamantissimo
This year is the 20th anniversary of
the Happy Sport watches, and to commemorate the milestone and celebrate
one of Chopard's icons, a masterpiece, a piece unique Happy Sport
Diamantissimo is created. A watch crafted with 4,500 hours of combined
skill work of high-jewellery and watchmaking.
The
Happy Sport Diamantissimo demonstrates Chopard's exceptional work with
the challenging invisible-setting technique - a remarkable technique
of gem-setting which no metal prongs are exposed to be seen holding the
gemstones giving a visual effect of seamless flow of gemstones.
1,700 hours of patient gemsetting work was put into the case, dial and the bracelet. Upon completion, 958 baguette-cut diamonds and 1,978 brilliant-cut diamonds were set, with a mind-blowing total of 65 carats!
The stunning aesthetic 18K white gold masterpiece is complemented with a L.U.C Calibre 96.17-L, a perfect balance of beauty and performance.
