How many years would you say does it take to qualify for 'neo vintage'? I was under the impression this was from the 2000s??

Are modern reproductions of centuries old designs (like the 1921 as an easy example) instantly 'neo vintage' LoL....

Poeple are all so drawn into, overseas, 222, 1921 these days... Such models have almost become obsolete, yet they are so pretty.

Was meant to attract younger collectors if I recall correctly. Most were chronographs, I believe 😊👍🏻
Now that you mention, it does ring a bell. I think that i.might have read that somewhere too.
Anyway, the watch has a lot of pretty details, one of them is that thick crown with nice grooves, the case shape and lugs. Also the dial displaying a triple date on subdials looks quite attractive, I think.

VC calibre 1206 has a wonderful pedigree, based on the evergreen Frédéric Piguet automatic caliber 11.50. If you get a winder, remember it winds counter-clockwise.
Yeah, not normally a good practice
so I've been told by watchmakers. I'll admit to using one for my QP 'cause its such a pain to set, also an F. Piguet 11.50-based movement ...
With annual or especially perpetual calendar, a winder is the way to go for sure.
But I habe always shy off from those. It is one complicatiom that somehow intimidate me, as i feel it a bit bothersome, yet often beautiful.
