Sometimes an opportunity presents itself. Here's a quick wrist shot of the L.U.C 1937, which presented itself at my door just yesterday.  At 42mm, It is the biggest, boldest L.U.C  in my small collection. I will take more photos soon and present a bit more detail about the watch. For today, though, I will simply enjoy seeing it on my wrist.

They are beautiful, and so exquisitely made. Yes, many of us have found fault here and there with some aesthetics (as We do with every manufacture), but meanwhile Chopard is quietly beginning to pull together their design elements into a very strong DNA a...

I must admit I was worried that the 42mm case might be too big/bulky, but it feels very nice on the wrist, in part I believe due what I would describe as an amazingly supple alligator strap considering how thick it is. Best, CaliforniaJed

Very very nice.

I really love the 1937 Chopard. What a beautiful design. It is slightly too big for my small wrist, otherwise it is one of my favorite pieces in the price range. They did a great job on the watch and I am a big fan of their LUC line. Congrats

Thanks.

Glad to know you're a fan! At 42mm, it is indeed a big watch, but the lugs are sculpted downward rather than out, which makes it wear slightly smaller. It works for my tree trunk wrists in any event! There are, of course, smaller cases in the L.U.C line. ...

We know your Latte pouring skills!

It's too bad I don't drink coffee... But I can still appreciate the Latte Art! If you Google Latte Art images, you can always find a laugh!

Here is its first official wristshot with a latte poured by CaliforniaJed!
