The absolute modernity of black and white, a graphic spirit, and classical lines: two new watches equipped with a mechanical movement reaffirm the majestic refinement of the Imperiale collection.
When the codes of contemporary elegance echo imperial grandeur, a great classic is clearly in the making. Born in the 1990s and completely redesigned in 2010, the Imperiale watch has become an iconic collection from the House of Chopard. It catches the eye with the harmony of its proportions and the refinement of its details. Two new models equipped with the Chopard 01.01-C movement now join the collection. They remain true to imperial classicism while offering a radically new approach: their monochrome character boldly asserts the self-evident force of timeless chic expressed in black and white.
A completely modern look
With its absolute modernity, this spirit of formal colour simplification provides a new interpretation of imperial codes. It’s radically different sculptural approach echoes the gentle strength of the collections lines. The dials of the Imperiale watch now appear in matt black or white while remaining true to the motif that distinguishes the Imperiale watch and jewellery collection, bringing to mind the embroidery of the hangings and cushions on which monarchs would place their insignia.
The ornamental relief work of this embroidery is also referenced to enhance the padded leather strap, which contributes to making the Imperiale 40mm “Black & White” steel watches authentically stylish objects. Another strong feature is the 40 mm-diameter steel case housing a mechanical Chopard movement (01.01-C). The polished bezel and crown set with an onyx or a moonstone lend the ultimate touch of refinement to the unique spirit of the Imperiale 40mm “Black & White” watches, in which the radical modernity of the colours respond to the absolute classicism of the lines.

popular among the Ladies here. Otherwise we wouldn't be seeing many wearing Rolex and Panerai :-) She will have to try the watches on her wrists regardless of brands. As she will be facing it daily, she must like it. Kong
