New York City – Chopard celebrates Madison Avenue Watch Week with live demonstrations by an in-house watchmaker, a 15 year Manufacture retrospective installation, the debut of a unique clock and an opportunity to view the latest 2011 novelties.

 

CHOPARD CELEBRATES MADISON AVENUE WATCH WEEK

APRIL 11 – 16, 2011

 

During this commemoration of haute horology for timepiece collectors and connoisseurs, Chopard's in-house watchmaker from Fleurier will give live demonstrations on the art of Haute Horlogerie at the New York Flagship boutique on 709 Madison Avenue.

 

Watch aficionado's will also find a retrospective installation documenting 15 years of Chopard's L.U.C Manufacture, where an achievement of 50 in-house calibers can be viewed.

 

Additionally, Chopard is pleased to debut an outstanding clock created by Jean Kazes, a famous and highly-skilled clockmaker living in Switzerland. This sculptural and artistic timekeeper is a spectacular work of horological art made exclusively for the New York flagship Boutique.

 

Lastly, visitors will have the opportunity to view new introductions from the L.U.C Collection recently unveiled at Basel.

 

Chopard is one of the rare Houses that develops and produces its own movements and watches completely in-house at Chopard's L.U.C Manufacture in Fleurier.
