A number of features of this SpaceOne release made it difficult to ignore. Besides the technical and aesthetic details, I appreciate it being a French made creation by Auffret and team. Enter text Thanks to a dear friend I was given the opportunity to see a number of Ferdinand Berthoud models. I ostensibly went to see the newly released FB 3. When I met with Ken from Chopard we went over all the models and while he spoke glowingly of the FB3 I was entranced by this one, the FB2RE.

Both looked nice, but the plastic on them made it hard to appreciate the dials. That’s why you have to buy them!!

Near perfect lighting conditions 😉 PS: This is the winner of my Flieger Frenzy over the past 3 months ✈️ Given the choice of Laco, Archimede and Dekla, at this price point, I’d reach for the Stowa every time due to finishing, cool details and best overall package ✈️
