My 5146 changed this morning from Feb 29 to Feb 30 instead of Mar 1. I was under the impression that Feb was programmed for 29 days on the annual calendar, but I may be mistaken. Would appreciate any observations from other annual calendar owners on the F...

leap year changes require a perpetual calandar

The 3940 or more advance PP models will make the leap-year change as will any other perpetual calandar. Annual calandar watches require a manual change at the end of February cheers benio

do not account for leap year and need to be changed manually. Perpetual Calendars will change "continually" or without interruption, hence the name/meaning, perpetual. The 5146 is a beautiful watch. Which model do have? I like the White gold with creme di...

It skips the 31 date before midnight, moves to 1, then moves the month indicator to MAR.
