How often do you service this watch?

Hi Myles, may I check how often you service this watch? Complicated machines generally have more things going wrong with it and are a little more fragile; is this the case for this watch? For me, for simpler watches and some of the others with complications like 7 days and chronos, I tend to have a service interval of once in 5 years as these go on rotation and do not end up on a winder (for auto). Hear from you when convenient.
I assume you still have this beauty?

I bought this JLC, NOS, about 8 months ago and it lost time at the tune of about 20 seconds a day, it had been sitting for too long. I sent it in for service (thanks Brandon and CJ Charles) and after 7 months just got it back. What a difference, the windi...

A long time for the right time?

Isn’t seven months a long time to wait for service on so costly a watch? You think they would prioritize this repair...

Yes, 7 months is a rather long wait.....

It is a complicated watch and good that they took their time to make it perfect. I guess the more complex the movement, the longer it will take. Love the duo metre movement. Watchmakers trusted to service such pieces must be a small in number. /W72

7 months is indeed a long time, but in July and August, you have to face watchmakers holidays. Then, the Duometre movement is not a common movement. As for the change of the hands...

I heard the same from Patek! BUT the most important is that you are able to enjoy this marvel of a Duometre, again. In my list. Just after the UTT... Best, Nicolas

Hi Nicolas, I don’t mind the 7 months
