Question about US duties from Switzerland
Dear All, Could anybody help me to know MA/US duties? I plan to get the birthday with 20 wedding anniversary present for my wife. I am considering Breguet Naples with diamonds. I would like to know the cost when the watch is sent from a store in Switzerla...
There is a U.S. website that gives you the formula for calculating duty.
The individual States cannot, by law, impose anything extra.

MA use taxes
keep in mind that MA monitors US customs declarations and will bill you penalties, interest and of course the use tax itself. They are about 2 years behind in this effort. The way the calculations are made is not pretty. I know IL also does this.
