Is the entire movement for the 3 sapphire bridge tourbillon manufactured in the GP factory, including the sapphire bridges. Or has some of it been manufactured else where? This piece is a real beauty! Best, Mike

I am not sure but i would guess that the sapphire bridges are made by aspecialized supplier. I reckon that cutting sapphire glass dos not belong to the traditional watchmaking techniques. Could anybody else provide us with more insight? regards, Stefan

These bridges are a highly specialized component with very specific tolerences, so GP sources them from an outside supplier to ensure that the bridges are flawlessly finished and constructed. Cheers, Daos

Thank you for your response on the manufacturing of the 3 sapphire bridges. How about the remaining parts of this movement? Are they manufactured by GP or manufactured elsewhere? Thank you, Mike

...is an in-house movement. GP has a long history of producing in-house movements and cases. The aligned barrel, tourbillon and wheel train are present in other GP 3 bridges tourbillons. Cheers, Daos
