the artisty here is pretty amazing. The boutique at the Prince building here in Hong Kong has this piece on display and itis really a treat to see it live.

Japan and Hong Kong boutiques must have the largest selection of CHOPARD XP Urushi watches. Maki-e (making pictures) is truly an Art-form..... Do you have any questions? Regards MTF ...

how/why Chopard chose to make a watch with an Urushi dial in the first place? They have certainly done so in a big way, and indeed these dials are truly exquisite, particularly in the metal. Best, CaliforniaJed
