Chopard

I was a bit sorry to have lost some good reflexes during the event last Tuesday. I forgot to shoot one of the stars of the show: the renovated first floor of the Vendôme boutique. So I decided to come back to the boutique today to correct this mistake!

Inaugurated at the end of March, this first floor embodies the new decoration style of the brand for its high jewelry salons and displays.

If we speak about a first floor, it is pure logic to mention the stairs which lead to it. And we don't have to forget that these stairs were also involved in the renovation works.

I love them because they are classy and luminous thanks to the presence of a large window and of an impressive chandelier which style is different from the design of the ones used in the main room. Famous clients, sketches, watches, jewels... the frames make us enter the Chopard world while going upstairs!

Here is the main room of the first floor. The main colour of the furnitures which can be found also on the chandeliers and the curtains is a generous red which manages to bring a more contemporary style without being too aggressive.

As I said in the event report, the lightings were defined by the  swiss lighting architects who work with Chopard. And they did a great job: the clients can enjoy the beauty of the pieces in perfect lights conditions... and on comfortable sofas!

This is one of the main changes on the first floor. This corner was previously a separated room dedicated to the boutique manager. It was converted in a very elegant sales area which can be isolated thanks to the curtains.

Two views of the main room from the other side. The displays are located on the back of the room. The main purpose of the room is clearly to welcome the clients in a relaxed atmosphere: they don't have to feel a "purchase" pressure. In the world of high jewelry,  the selling process is very different from what we may know in some watches boutiques.

Of course, such prestigious location (I remind you the official address: 1, place Vendôme in Paris), should propose a nice view on the adjacent streets! And I could enjoy it from the windows!
