For the biennial event, the Grand Prix de Monaco Historique 2010, Chopard has designed two versions.
A
limited rose gold case edition of 250 pieces and a non-limited steel
version with quick identification by noticing the colour scheme for the
hands, markers and stitching on the straps.
Firstly the steel version with orange-stitched straps ....
Case diameter 42.5mm by 14.5mm thick. Silvered concentric guilloché dial with orange hands and markers.
Magnifier for the date. 30-minute subdial at 12H, while 12-hour subdial at 6H (which could be used as second-time zone) and the small-second at 9H. Superluminova coated on hour-markers and the hour & minute hands.
The crown with the Grand Prix de Monaco Historique siglet.
Sapphire caseback with the Grand Prix de Monaco Historique emblem printed (on the second surface). Please note the protective layer was not removed on the caseback.
Movement is either ETA 7750 or 7754 (with the GMT-hand removed).
The steel case has an option for steel bracelet too.
Next is the Rose Gold version .... The colour theme changed to French Racing Blue ...

Kong, i read there was an adv about another new release by Chopard in yesterday's Strait Times. by the way, back to your question regarding which one to be chosen, i think RG version looks better. best, stefan
