Chopard WOW #2

 By: CaliforniaJed : July 16th, 2014-09:05
As promised, I've picked the next Chopard Watch of the Week (WOW #2). The honor goes to Sanro and his limited edition Tech Twist. Sanro, you (or Kong, perhaps) will have to supplement my knowledge of the watch. It is PVD and only 20 were produced, as you ...

If I remember correctly, it was released for a spanish forum, circa 2008 / 2009.

And yes, it was a very small edition. Best, Nicolas

Red, yellow, charcoal grey....

was for Cronotempvs. Seems to be a Spain Watch Club ... so Nico is right. You can see what Sanro has posted of that L.U.C Tech Twist here: Kong

Kong, that looks to be a post about a Peter Speake-Marin.

Well...

This model never really spoke to me but THIS exact model... Wow! The colors and case reinvent it. It's like it was meant to wear these colors, to emphasize how modern and forward looking this design is. Super cool, and rather haute.

"The colors and case reinvent it."

Well said, Mostel. If Chopard would consider another Tech watch with a similar case/movement treatment and colors, I suspect many would seek it out. Thanks for your thoughts. Best, CaliforniaJed

Design is a strange topic

Mostel, It is remarkable how a small change like colour of font can affect perceptions about a watch. I also do not like the tech-look in general. I don't hate them; I even appreciate the design techniques but my money usually stays in pocket. :-) I agree...
