but that may be due to the consistency of the silver dial/white gold color. Did the older version come in white gold? In either case a very beautiful moonphase with an equally interesting movement. Thanks for highlighting this watch, Kong!

and the Roman numerals also tend to be less prominent than the arabic numerals visually and this helps the dial as well. Thanks Kong, an interesting evolution of a very nice watch.

I much prefer the subdials on the new version, and to me, the Romans work better on this watch than the Arabics. (That said, there is a time and place for Arabics as well!) Best, CaliforniaJed ...

I like the overall appearance and symmetry of the watch. However, I can't say I prefer the squashed / distorted Roman numerals for 5 and 7 around the lower side of the dial. If we must make room, why not do it this way, by adjusting the numerals gradually...  

You know I admire that Gerber. The comparison is, to me, apples and oranges. The "distorted" Romans will appeal to some and others, not so much. It is certainly not my favorite element of the dial. In all candor, though, the Gerber numerals to me look a b...  

I am not sure I understand the design of the sub seconds counter, but otherwise, this watch has a very nice appearance.
