My Patek 5167 is, without a doubt, the most difficult watch I’ve ever photographed. Unless I am very selective about where I take a photo, the polished edges of the bezel seem to always catch a reflection. It is actually driving me crazy!
I saw it in person two weeks ago and I find it to be the most cohesive design of the Ceramic Daytona. The grey dial offsets the black accents perfectly. Not as visually bold as the SS White Dial, and more contrast than the SS Black Dial.
I was fortunate to meet Kari Voutilainen a few months ago in NYC. Such a friendly and humble man, but his passion for watchmaking is something that can not be explained. I would definitely recommend stopping in Ghent. A charming town with a vibrant energy...it’s a short train ride from Brussels, and we actually enjoyed it more than Bruges. In Brussels, the Grand Plaza and it’s surrounding area is both visually impressive and interesting. Enjoy! Chris
